Island Federal Credit Union names McGregor Vice President/Chief Lending Officer
LACEY, WA (August 20, 2015) — Island Federal Credit Union (Island) has appointed John McGregor Vice President/Chief Lending Officer, replacing Anthony (Tony) Sidoti who retired. In his new role, McGregor will be oversee Island’s entire lending area, including auto loans, home equity lines and loans, mortgages, credit cards and education loans, as well as all loan operations.
Prior to his promotion, John McGregor held the position of Senior Director of Retail Banking at Island where he was responsible for their nine Long Island locations, including Island’s two new branches at Stony Brook University. During his past seven years at the credit union, McGregor has been instrumental in managing all aspects of Island’s day-to-day retail banking operation.

A lifelong resident of Suffolk County, McGregor is an accredited credit counselor who has advised and educatedmany groups, from college classes to veterans’ groups, about the borrowing process. Prior to joining Island in 2008, he worked at a number of banking institutions on Long Island and has been actively involved in a number of community organizations.
