Janelle Kaczmarek named CFO at NET Credit Union.

SCRANTON, PA (December 14, 2015) — Janelle Kaczmarek is the newly appointed CFO at NET Credit Union. A native of Northeast PA, she has 28 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career as an internal auditor in the banking world and subsequently was appointed Director of Internal Audit for a Savings Association. For the past 18 years she has held the position of CFO in the credit union industry.

She appreciates the credit union way, “They are more focused on helping members.” Kaczmarek is most excited about NET helping members increase their credit score. Specifically, she wants to ensure credit union monies will be invested back into product development and technology to enhance member experience. Through the ideas and contacts she has gained over her career longevity, Kaczmarek will be bringing a new lending software to NET which will help us better serve the members.

It seems as though Kaczmarek’s core values are much the same as the credit union’s core values: community importance. She has served on local non-profit boards in the Northeast Pennsylvania region as well as being active in fundraising events for local charities, such as Leadership Lackawanna, Make-A-Wish and Breast Cancer Walk just to name a few.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from King’s College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Wilkes University. She is a graduate of the CUNA Financial Management School and also successfully completed the requirements for and holds certifications as a Certified Bank Auditor and Certified Financial Services Auditor.
