Jay Kruse named VP of Government Affairs for Credit Union Association of the Dakotas

BISMARCK, ND (October 5, 2015) — The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas (CUAD) has named Jay Kruse Vice President of Government Affairs. Kruse is currently the controller at Service First Federal Credit Union, Sioux Falls, SD, and has previously served as the internal auditor for the financial cooperative. A native of De Smet, SD, he holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Professional Accountancy and in Business Administration and Finance from Dakota State University, Madison, SD. Kruse will begin his new role with the Association in Mid-October.

“I’m very excited to welcome Jay to the CUAD team,” said Jeff Olson, President/CEO of the Credit Union association of the Dakotas. “His five plus years of experience in operations at a credit union and his first hand knowledge on regulatory barriers and the current issues facing our industry will be a vital asset to our members. More importantly, with his passion and leadership on our Government Affairs Committee and as our Political Action Trustee, Jay is a great fit for our Association as we continue to build, enhance, and implement our legislative and regulatory advocacy objectives.”
