Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union announces new staffing changes
LOWELL, MA (February 6, 2024) — Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, is pleased to welcome Karen Manuelian, Assistant Vice President-Marketing, and announce the promotions of two employees.
Karen Manuelian joins Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union with 15 years of Marketing experience. Previously the AVP-Marketing at Align Credit Union, Manuelian’s industry knowledge will be valuable in implementing the institution’s strategic plan. She brings with her a diverse skill set which includes strategic marketing, website management, creative design, copywriting, social media marketing, SEO/SEM, display media, and email marketing.
Being a lifelong Merrimack Valley resident, Manuelian is committed to bettering the communities Jeanne D’Arc serves. She has participated in various volunteer initiatives supporting organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell, and the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
Manuelian earned her B.S. in Marketing and B.A. in Media Arts from Bentley University and currently resides in Lowell, MA.
Ryan Gagne was recently promoted to Branch Officer of the Chelmsford Branch. Gagne joined Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in 2000 and has held several positions during her tenure. Since 2011, she has served as Assistant Branch Manager of the Chelmsford Branch. Gagne has also acted as Interim Branch Manager during various periods.
Gagne earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Middlesex Community College. She also received a Developing Great Managers certificate from the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) and her Financial Services certificate from the Center of Financial Training (CFT).
In support of the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” Gagne enjoys volunteering at The Wish Project in Chelmsford, MA. She currently resides in Lowell with her significant other, Manuwell, and their two children.
Alexis (Lexi) Owen has been promoted to Branch Officer of the Dracut Branch on Lakeview Ave. Owen has been with the Credit Union since 2013 where she began as a high school intern at the Methuen Branch. Throughout her career at Jeanne D’Arc, Owen has held multiple positions including her most recent role as Assistant Branch Manager of the Methuen Branch. Earlier this year, she also served as Interim Branch Manager.
In addition to her role at the credit union, Owen is dedicated to serving the community. Every month, she volunteers at the Dracut Council on Aging’s Veterans Breakfast.
Owen received her Advanced Financial Services certificate from the Center of Financial Training (CFT). She currently resides in Salisbury, MA with her boyfriend and their two German Shepherds.
