LOWELL, MA (October 26, 2015) — Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union is proud to announce that Judy McCullough, Assistant Branch Manager of our Lowell branch, was selected to receive The Founding Mothers Award by Budget Buddies, a local non-profit organization whose mission is “to promote financial literacy and confidence among low-income women.”
Judy began her career at Jeanne D’Arc in 2001 as a Member Service Representative. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Salem State College and has over 18 years of industry experience which she eagerly shares with the community through her volunteer efforts.
“We are so proud of Judy and her commitment to Budget Buddies” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “Her dedication to empowering financially responsible women truly reflects the credit union’s commitment to providing financial education in our community.
Judy has been with Budget Buddies since March of 2011, starting as a coach and then quickly moving on to a presenter. She has served as the program leader at Coalition for a Better Acre, Habitat for Humanity and several others. Judy assisted in the creation of several videos and is the Budget Buddies official photographer.
“Judy has been central to our success from the beginning,” said Anita Saville, Executive Director of Budget Buddies. “From coaching our buddies to helping with community outreach, and everything in between, Judy brings an unmatched enthusiasm and insight that has improved the lives of hundreds of low-income women in our community.”
