Raiz Federal Credit Union proudly announces that Jerry Clerveaux, Vice President of Consumer Lending, has been awarded the prestigious Outstanding Alumni Award by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) National Alumni Council presented at their annual Leadership Conference Legacy Gala, held in Houston, Texas, on Friday, February 20, 2026. This national honor recognizes not just Jerry’s exceptional service and leadership as an alumnus of a UNCF-member institution, but also the spirit of empowerment, unity, and community impact that defines Raiz.
The Outstanding Alumni Award is one of the highest honors in the UNCF network, celebrating alumni whose dedication to fundraising, volunteer leadership, and philanthropy drives real change for historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) across the nation. Jerry’s recognition is a testament to his relentless advocacy for education equity and his role in opening doors for the next generation of leaders.
A proud Florida Memorial University graduate, Jerry has made a lasting mark on the UNCF community—as a lifetime member of the Florida Memorial University National Alumni Association, an active fundraiser, and a passionate advocate for ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed. His commitment extends beyond UNCF: Jerry serves on the boards of El Paso Pro Musica and the Better Business Bureau of El Paso, and is a steadfast supporter of the Underserved Communities Foundation. At Raiz, Jerry’s vision inspires our entire team to lead with heart and serve with purpose.
