Jesse Hunt named Notre Dame FCU Northwest Indiana Market President
WHITING, IND (September 12, 2023) — Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) promoted Jesse Hunt to Northwest Indiana Market President, working out of the Lake County Branch in Whiting, IN. He will oversee the Northwest Indiana team, comprised of professionals with strong ties to Lake County. Hunt also serves as Notre Dame FCU’s Director of Commercial Lending.
A graduate of George Rogers Clark High School before attending Purdue University-Northwest, Hunt is a Whiting native who shares a strong bond with his local community. Hunt was named to The Times of Northwest Indiana’s 20 Under 40 list in 2022 and recognized as the Best Banker in their 2023 Best of the Region Awards.
On serving the region as Northwest Indiana Market President, Hunt said, “Everyone deserves the opportunity to benefit from a local financial institution that truly has their best interests in mind and puts people over profit. Northwest Indiana is a big part of who I am, and I want to represent the people and communities we serve to make them proud. My goal is to increase the financial wherewithal for all our Member/Owners through honest banking practices and sound fiscal management.”
Hunt is passionate about giving back to the community and currently serves as the Vice President of the Whiting-Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce, in addition to chairing the Salvation Army of Northwest Indiana’s Finance Committee and the Big Shoulders Fund Northwest Indiana Founders Advisory Council.
