JetStream Federal Credit Union Announces Promotion of Mio Serrano

JetStream Federal Credit Union has announced the promotion of Mio Serrano to the position of Vice President of Human Resources and Administration.  In her new position, Ms. Serrano, who joined JetStream in September 1997, will be responsible for the Human Resource, Training, Facilities, and Administration functions. “Mio has made significant contributions to JetStream’s success over the past several years.  Her promotion to Vice President reflects the expansion of her job responsibilities and the important role she will play in coordinating JetStream’s efforts towards increased efficiency and growth.” states Jeanne Kucey, JetStream’s Chief Executive Officer.

Serrano’s background includes a degree in Business Studies from St. Thomas University, Miami, Florida.  In addition to her success with JetStream, her work experience includes human resource positions in a variety of non-financial industries, and a PHR certification in human resource management.  “I really enjoy being a part of an industry that makes a positive impact on member’s lives every day,” said Mio.  “I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to developing new skills of my own as well as those of the JetStream team.”
