JetStream Federal Credit Union CEO Named to Advisory Board
Jeanne Kucey, President and CEO of JetStream Federal Credit Union, was appointed to the Marlene Ericca Empowering Workshops Advisory Board of Directors. The “ME” Empowering Workshops is an organization that promotes economic independence and addresses the many tangible needs of women who are in life transition. The educational workshops offer participants a chance to gain life skills with mentorship support to improve their future as well as the future of their families. The organization works collaboratively with community based rehabilitation centers as well as other nonprofit organizations that address the needs of disadvantaged women.
In addition to her role on the advisory board, Ms. Kucey is a workshop presenter who educates participants on a variety of financial related topics. “My commitment to the workshops is a natural extension of credit union philosophy; to reach out to the underserved and assist those with limited access to financial services”, says Kucey, “I’m confident that our efforts will prepare participants to re-enter society with greater self confidence and solid mentor support, ultimately resulting in financial empowerment and increased community good will.”
The advisory board is composed of Lisa Gaeta- Founder & CEO, Margarita Orta – Chairman, Hon. Luz Weinberg – City of Aventura Commissioner, Jeanne Kucey- President of JetStream Federal Credit Union, Dr. Harry Sendzischew, Vascular Surgeon at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Deidra Love-Ross – a past graduate of the workshop.
