JetStream Federal Credit Union donates to Kristi House
MIAMI LAKES, FL (November 30, 2023) — JetStream Federal Credit Union team members donated food and personal hygiene items to Kristi House just before the Thanksgiving holiday. They’ll also be collecting toys to distribute in December. Kristi House is dedicated to treating and preventing child sexual abuse, human trafficking, and other childhood trauma, working closely with community partners, parents, and providers. Operating the only Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) in Miami-Dade County, Kristi House is responsible for coordinating child-victims’ legal, medical, and social services needs. Founded in 1995 as a private, not-for-profit organization, Kristi House provides an integrated solution for families navigating the complex services involved in the healing process. The Center is nationally recognized for its evidence-based, therapeutic expertise in treating child trauma.
