JetStream Federal Credit Union participates in Summer Internship Program
JetStream Federal Credit Union participated in the Miami Dade County Public Schools Summer Internship Program for the 3rd consecutive year. Students from Barbara Goleman High School’s Academy of Finance were selected to intern at JetStream Federal’s headquarters in Miami Lakes. The students, Jaysen Mulligan and Carlos Vallina, worked in the various departments at the credit union, including Accounting, Marketing, Business Development and Information Technology for a total of 150 hours. Both students will be majoring in Business when they graduate high school in 2011. “The Summer Internship program is a great experience for those students who want to get a glimpse of what it is like to work in a corporate environment prior to starting college”, said Mara Falero, VP of Marketing. “It’s actually seeing what they have learned in their business classes in full action. These two talented young men have a very bright future ahead of them.”
