JetStream Federal Credit Union once again partnered with the CFT (Center for Financial Training) and Miami Dade College for the annual Future Bankers’ Camp Program. This program provides a hands-on experience for high school students interested in careers in the financial industry.
The program includes a two week educational track at Miami Dade College and a two week internship at a financial institution. The educational track includes Teller and Customer Service training. The last two weeks are spent learning and working in a financial institution. After successful completion of the program, the students receive the ABA Bank Teller and Customer Service Rep Certificates followed by a graduation ceremony. Students who graduate will earn summer school credits and can apply for dual enrollment credits toward an associate degree in financial services.
