JMFA welcomes new regional directors

Additional expertise expands service and support for banks and credit unions

HOUSTON, TX (May 20, 2020) — JMFA, a profit-improvement consulting firm for community banks and credit unions, today announced the expansion of its team of experts and consultants with the addition of the following new Regional Directors.

“As the financial services industry continues to face tremendous challenges, we are increasing our consulting resources to provide additional support to our clients and industry partners,” said Richard Miller, JMFA senior executive vice president of sales. “At this time, we are pleased to introduce the following staff additions that will expand our services in 10 states.”

Terry LaFontaine will lead client services and consulting for banks and credit unions in Florida.He joinsJMFA with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. His expertise includes sales process management, marketing, business development, team leadership, CRM technologies and market analysis. He is experienced in building high-performance teams that deliver creative and profitable solutions for financial institutions and is a proven thought leader in industry best practices.

 Derrik Mather will be responsible for client services and consulting for banks and credit unions in Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. He joins JMFA with more than 17 years of industry expertise, specializing in sales, operations, retail banking and indirect lending services. His leadership experience, along with product evaluation and implementation knowledge, have provided financial institutions with effective business strategies and helpful solutions for building stronger account holder relationships.

Rebecca Minor will lead JMFA’s consulting and client services for banks and credit unions in Iowa and banks in Wisconsin. She joins JMFA with more than 16 years of experience in Fintec, traditional financial services and sales. Her background includes account management, business development, human resources management, team building and client collaboration.She is recognized for cultivating relationships and utilizing creative strategies to help financial institutions generate revenue and reach performance goals.

 Noel Sanger will be responsible for client services and consulting with banks and credit unions in Arkansas and Missouri. He joins JMFA with more than 20 years of experience in banking and credit union leadership, sales and operational management. As an accomplished senior-level executive, he is skilled in revenue generation, market expansion and creating new business opportunities. His expertise also includes strategic planning, product development, branch management, retail banking and community outreach.

Eric Schatz will be responsible for client services and consulting for banks and credit unions throughout New York state. He joins JMFAwith more than 20 years of industry experience, specializing in business and new market development, sales management, consulting, marketing and client services. His long-term association with the East Coast banking community has led to extensive insight into the identification and delivery of product solutions, and development of new business opportunities for financial institutions in that market.

 Wendi Lewis will be responsible for client services and consulting with banks and credit unions throughout Michigan. She brings more than 30 years of industry experience, both as a product and service vendor to banks and credit unions, as well as in bank leadership positions. Her expertise includes, relationship building, operational design, planning, software and customer service training, and marketing.
