John M. Floyd & Associates Announces New Sales and Consulting Personnel

BAYTOWN, Texas (September 27, 2012) – John M. Floyd & Associates (JMFA), a profitability and performance improvement consulting firm for financial institutions, today announced additions to its sales force and consulting staff.  As ongoing regulatory and economic conditions continue to challenge the financial services industry, JMFA’s expansion supports the company’s growth by providing additional expertise for its more than 2,000 financial services clients located throughout the United States.

Mark Miller has joined JMFA as director of sales. With more than 30 years of management, business development, sales and marketing experience, Miller will be responsible for on-going development of the company’s sales and marketing strategies, as well as sales training initiatives.

Prior to this appointment, Miller was president of Strategies for Success, Inc., a business development firm that he founded in 1998. As a licensee of the Sandler Sales Institute and award-winning sales manager and trainer, he helped businesses across a variety of industries dramatically increase their annual revenues and improve their business practices. He was previously associated with JMFA in 2002 and was instrumental in developing the company’s current sales program. Since that time he has served JMFA in a consulting capacity.

In addition, JMFA has named the following regional directors:

Larry McGuire has joined JMFA as regional director for Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. McGuire has more than 34 years of experience in the sales and marketing of financial systems and equipment. His background includes leadership positions in the sale of ATMs, traditional and security focused bank products, new business development and relationship management.

Prior to joining JMFA, McGuire had a 25-year career as an account manager at NCR Corp., followed by eight years as a senior account manager for Bancsource Inc. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from Morehead State University.

John Neely has been named regional director for the state of California. Neely joins JMFA with more than 30 years of sales and consulting experience in the financial services industry. His background includes leadership positions in the sales and marketing of revenue generation, risk management, information technology, process management and other mission-critical functions.

Prior to joining JMFA, Neely was associated with Wolf & Company, RLR Management Consulting, RSM McGladrey, Inc. and the California Bankers Association. He also held management positions at Wells Fargo Bank and California Federal Bank. Neely is a graduate of the University of Louisville, School of Business.
