JSC FCU Honored With Community Partner Award
University of Houston-Clear Lake President William A. Staples presented the prestigious Community Partnership Award to JSC Federal Credit Union during the university’s Annual Report to the Community breakfast on March 31st.
JSC FCU has been instrumental in supporting the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Other projects supported by the credit union include the Veterans Day Celebration, Welcome Back Bash, new student orientations, various university vendor fairs and the UH-Clear Lake Pearland Campus scholarship fund.
Previous honorees include Clear Creek Independent School District, NASA Johnson Space Center and the City of Pearland. Recipients are recognized on a plaque displayed outside the Bayou Building’s Garden Room.
“Their professionalism, enthusiasm and interest in helping make programs succeed is both laudable and appreciated,” said Staples.
JSC Federal Credit Union Business Development Manager Jennifer Robinett accepted the award on behalf of the organization and spoke about the organization’s relationship with UH-Clear Lake.
“We have supported and collaborated on many projects,” said Robinett. “We do this with the common goal – to help people improve lives. We hope to keep collaborating on projects for years to come.”
JSC FCU shares a passion for education, specifically financial education, with many businesses in the community by offering free financial seminars, financial clubs, and online financial tools.
JSC FCU is one of the largest credit unions in the Houston Area and has been “Redefining Banking since 1961”.
