Keeping the animals happy & healthy
DOVER, DE (November 16, 2017) — Thanks to a community initiative between the First State Animal Center, SPCA and Dover Federal Credit Union, $2,644 was raised for the animals during the month of October. In addition, Dover Federal team members “Jean Fridays” donations were matched dollar for dollar by the First State Favorite Credit Union. On Oct. 20, an adoption event was held at Dover Federal’s Smyrna branch, which provided the ability to find a forever home for some fur babies, while also raising awareness for the shelter.
