Kellogg Community Credit Union celebrates National Credit Union Youth Savings Month

BATTLE CREEK, MI (March 31, 2017) — Kellogg Community Credit Union (KCCU) will be celebrating National Credit Union Youth Savings Month throughout April by offering KCCU Youth members (ages 17 and younger) the chance to win prizes as they learn the value of saving money.

KCCU believes that learning to save for what you want in life is a crucial life skill. That’s why for National Credit Union Youth Savings Month, KCCU will focus on helping young people develop good saving habits. KCCU is teaming up with Binder Park Zoo to help children “Give a Hoot About Saving,” because owls represent wisdom, and nothing is wiser than learning to save for one’s future goals.

During the entire month of April, if you bring your child to a KCCU branch and they open a new KCCU youth savings account, or make a deposit of at least $5, they will automatically be entered to win fun prizes like family-pack tickets to Binder Park Zoo. In addition, every child who visits a KCCU branch during April will receive a special prize by simply making a deposit. You can visit our website, kelloggccu.org, for more information.
