KEMBA Financial gives back to the Central Ohio community

COLUMBUS, OH (May 8, 2020) — KEMBA Financial Credit Union, located in Columbus, Ohio, has supported community recently:

  1. KEMBA celebrated Nurses Week by donating meals for the entire team of second shift nurses at a local hospital, Mount Carmel East, which also happens to be a long-time SEG. The 200-plus meals were so very appreciated, “I honestly don’t know what to say besides thank you so much for KEMBA’S kindness and generosity.  I never expected this many meals, the staff will be so touched,” said Pamela Duncan, Patient Care Services at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
  2. Traditionally flowers are given out in our branch lobbies in the days leading up to Mother’s Day, obviously this year is a little different. So in honor of Mother’s Day, KEMBA made a donation to a local charity serving women, CHOICES, which is for victims of domestic violence, and also a SEG. “This gift will help so many victims of domestic violence – and their children – who turn to CHOICES for help. Thank you so much for thinking of CHOICES and those we serve,” said Karen West, Director of Philanthropy.
