HAUPPAUGE, NY, May 31 – Indira Khan, who brings 25 years of experience in key banking, credit union and financial service positions, has joined GrooveCar, Inc. (www.groovecar.com) as director of credit union relations, the company announced here today.
Ms. Khan, 49, will be responsible for all company relationships with its far-flung credit union constituency on and off Long Island, especially as it grows its national footprint. GrooveCar is one of the nation’s leading loan aggregators.
Previously, she was a senior analyst at Bank of America in Jericho, NY. Prior to that, Ms. Khan was a lending manager at Sperry FCU and an operations supervisor at WAMU (Washington Mutual), now part of JP Morgan Chase, in Islandia, NY.
“Indira brings a wealth of knowledge about credit unions and financial services to our organization,” said GrooveCar founder and President David Jacobson. “This experience quotient can only help us realize the capacity to grow our capabilities in the credit union space. She knows the inside-out of the credit union industry, which was a very important factor in her hiring.”
A native of Guyana, Ms. Khan lives with her husband and two children in Babylon, LI.
