MANHATTAN BEACH, CA (December 2, 2013) -- Kinecta Federal Credit Union (Kinecta) announced today that Maria S. Japardi has been promoted to the position of First Vice President of Human Resources, effective immediately. She has served as Kinecta’s Vice President of Human Resources since June 2006. Reporting directly to Keith Sultemeier, President & Chief Executive Officer, Japardi will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s human capital strategies and key Human Resources initiatives.

Prior to joining Kinecta, Japardi was the Human Resources Officer for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Los Angeles, where she created, implemented, and managed various human resources management programs. Japardi earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from California State University, Dominguez Hills, graduating cum laude, and received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
