Kinecta Federal Credit Union’s Keith Sultemeier elected as new chairman of CU Direct
CU Direct’s board election results and new officers announced during DRIVE ’19 Conference, financial partners Moghaddam recognized for service.
ONTARIO, CA (May 15, 2019) — CU Direct, the nation’s leading credit union lending technology provider,hasannounced the results of their board of directors and officers electionsduring the company’s annual shareholders meetingat the DRIVE‘19 Conference.
Erin Mendez, president & CEO, Patelco Credit Union; Benson Porter, president & CEO, BECU; and Nader Moghaddam, president & CEO, Financial Partners Credit Unionwere re-elected to new three-year terms on the company’s board of directors.
CU Direct’s board of directors elected Keith Sultemeier, president and CEO, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, as the company’s new chairman during its officer’s election. Sultemeier has served on CU Direct’s board since 2013. The company’s board of directors also elected Jim Laffoon, president & CEO, Security Service Federal Credit Union,as vice chairman, and Erin Mendezas the board’s secretary and treasurer.
CU Direct’s board also announced that Bob McKay, president & CEO, Anheuser Busch Employees’ Credit Union has been appointed as a director on the board, afterserving as an associate director since August of 2017.McKay fills the vacancy created by outgoing director Chuck Purvis, president & CEO of Coastal Credit Union.
During the company’s shareholder’s meeting, CU Direct’s president and CEO, Tony Boutelle, along with the board of directors, recognized outgoing chairman, Nader Moghaddam, for his leadership, dedication and distinguished service as chairman of the board from 2017-2019.
