Cummins Allison, the leading innovator and provider of coin, currency and check processing technology as well as ATMs, today announced that Kings Federal Credit Union, located in Hanford, CA, has added ATMs with automated deposit to make cash and check deposits faster and easier for members.
“We needed to upgrade our legacy ATMs with automated deposit and EMV capabilities; however, the cost in doing so was prohibitive,” said Jeff Bassill, president and CEO, Kings Federal Credit Union. In their efforts to find the right solution and reviewing proposals from a number of providers, Kings Federal Credit Union selected Cummins Allison’s H34 automated deposit ATM in a walk-up and drive-up configuration.
Significant savings in time and deposits
With Cummins Allison ATMs in place, the staff is realizing significant time savings managing deposits. “The new deposit imaging capability helps make crediting cash to accounts much faster and reduces the need to pull deposits at a certain time,” said Bassill. “The time we’re saving from not having to open envelopes and review deposits are at least thirty minutes each day.” Moving forward, as support for Windows 7 ends, the new machines will make the transition to Windows 10 much easier.
“Kings Federal Credit Union provides its members with leading edge financial products and services, and Cummins Allison automated deposit technology plays a critical role in delivering that interaction with their members,” said Bob Gibson, vice president, Cummins Allison.
