Kirtland Credit Union is pleased to announce the selection of Julie Nielsen as the Credit Union’s new Chief Financial Officer following a nationwide search.
“We are excited to welcome Julie back to the Credit Union as our next Chief Financial Officer,” said Matt Rarden, President/CEO. “Julie is an experienced Credit Union executive, and we are excited to see her lead our Accounting and Finance operations.”
Julie comes to Kirtland CU after previously serving as Vice President, Finance and Investment Officer at Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union. Prior to her time at Sandia Labs FCU, she served at the Vice President of Finance at Kirtland CU and brings a combined 30 years’ experience working in the financial services industry.
When asked about her new position, Julie stated, “I am delighted to have been selected as the next CFO of such a highly regarded financial institution as Kirtland Credit Union and especially an institution that gives so much back to this community. My entire career has been spent in financial institutions and I look forward to working with the team to contribute to the continued growth and success of the Credit Union and a productive economic future for our community.”
