Kohler Credit Union donates $1300 to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight
KOHLER, WI (June 9, 2017) — Stars and Stripes Honor Flight will receive a $1300 donation from Kohler Credit Union thanks to the success of the Sheboygan County Memorial Day brat fry. The Memorial Day brat fry was made possible due to donations from several local business sponsors includingOld Wisconsin, Sargento Cheese, Lakeside Pepsi, Johnson’s Bakery, The Sheboygan Sign Shop and Blue Harbor Resort,
Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, located in Port Washington, is a nonprofit organization that honors veterans by flying them to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials.
“Stars and Stripes Honor Flight is so grateful to community partners like Kohler Credit Union, who enable us to continue flying large numbers of deserving vets to Washington, D.C., for the day of honor they have deserved for so long,” said KarynRoelke, vice president of public relations. “Many of our oldest veterans have never been thanked for their service to our country so long ago, and the incredible support of our community has enabled us to celebrate almost five thousand local heroes since 2008.”
