La Macchia Group completes construction of three major credit union projects
Branch remodels, operations centers underscore La Macchia Group’s expertise, experience
MILWAUKEE, WI (May 31, 2023) — This month, La Macchia Group announced the completion of a new operations center for Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union in New Martinsville, West Virginia, a branch remodel of Vibe Credit Union in Waterford, Michigan, and a branch remodel of and addition to Kohler Credit Union’s Sheboygan, Wisconsin location.
Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union’s new New Martinsville, West Virginia operations center is 30,765-square-feet and was designed and built to be a place to gather, collaborate, network, and grow. The operations center is home to roughly seventy employees who are responsible for the credit union’s business operations. It features a lobby adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, digital displays, a “living wall” of natural moss and wood and two integrated teller machines.
“Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union’s new operations center is the latest project in a long-time partnership between the credit union and La Macchia Group,” said Brian Midock, Senior Project Manager at La Macchia Group. “This new operations center provides an atmosphere that fosters teamwork and community and will drive new business and employee recruitment.”
La Macchia Group also completed the transformation of Vibe Credit Union’s 19,147-square-foot branch in Waterford, Michigan into an operations center, designed to support the credit union’s growth for years to come. The new operations center features an open floor plan with multiple spaces dedicated to collaboration and relationship building with colleagues and members alike.

La Macchia Group also continued its longstanding relationship with Kohler Credit Union with a 6,050-square-foot branch remodel and addition to the credit union’s Sheboygan, Wisconsin location.
