Lake Michigan Credit Union announces winner of $50,000 Home Makeover Giveaway – Jamal of Grand Rapids, MI
GRAND RAPIDS, MI (August 26, 2021) — Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) is pleased to announce that Joel of Grand Rapids, Michigan is the winner of LMCU’s annual Home Makeover Giveaway.
This year’s contest generated 1,093,779 entries submitted online, at branch locations, and LMCU ATMs. The winning entry was selected in a random drawing on July 20, 2021.
Jamal and his daughter were presented with a check for $50,000 on August 12, 2021 at LMCU’s corporate office, surrounded by dozens of LMCU staff members.
LMCU President and CEO, Sandra Jelinski, made the notification call, a job she clearly enjoys. “It’s such a pleasure to present this check to Jamal and his family. I always enjoy contacting the sweepstakes winners and hearing the surprise and excitement in their voices.”
Jamal said, “I have been with LMCU for over 15 years. I always get the support I need, and it is the right place to bank for me and my family”.
LMCU’s promotional campaign stretched across multiple media, including television, radio, print, outdoor, point of sale (POS), internet, social networks and member communications.
