Lake Michigan Credit Union raises $70,435.27 for kids’ healthcare

Once again, the Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) community banded together to raise money for kids’ healthcare.

It’s the fifth year that LMCU has organized their Band Together campaign, encouraging members and staff members throughout Michigan and Southwest Florida to donate any amount to kids’ healthcare.

This year, LMCU raised $70,435.27. That’s a 76% increase from last year. Lake Michigan Credit Union is honored to have so many members and employees step-up in support of kids’ healthcare.

LMCU’s Community Relations Manager, Alexis Reame, said, “We are thrilled to partner with our local hospitals to provide the generous donations from our members and staff. The overwhelming increase in donations this year is a testament to the wonderful members we have and the communities we serve.”

A dozen different hospitals throughout Michigan and Florida will receive 100% of the donations, including Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, Mercy Health, Metro Health—University of Michigan Health Hospital, Bronson Healthcare, Ascension Borgess Hospital, Holland Hospital, Munson Healthcare, Beaumont Health System, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, Covenant Hospital, Golisano Children’s Hospital, and NCH Healthcare System.
