Lake Trust Credit Union hosts second annual mortgage refinance program, simultaneously supports housing non-profits
In addition to large savings on closing costs, Lake Trust will donate $100 to a housing non-profit when a member refinances their home
BRIGHTON, MI (December 16, 2020) —
Lake Trust Credit Union (Lake Trust), a community-based credit union serving nearly 200,000 individuals and businesses throughout Michigan, is hosting their $99 Mortgage Refinance program that, in addition to reduced closing costs, will donate $100 for every completed refinance loan to a housing non-profit providing COVID-19 relief to local communities.

Nonprofit organizations providing housing assistance have seen significant increase in need in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lake Trust will continue to support programs that advance the needs of our community.”
Through Dec. 31, Michigan residents refinancing through Lake Trust partner Mortgage Center, will only pay $99 in lending fees, averaging a total savings of $989 on closing costs. The simple, streamlined application process is open to members and non-members alike, with non-members able to begin the refinancing process and complete a membership with Lake Trust prior to their closing date.
