Lake Trust Credit Union welcomes Krassi Kassabov as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer
Kassabov brings more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale strategic initiatives at financial institutions to the Brighton-based credit union
BRIGHTON, MICH (March 26, 2024) — Lake Trust Credit Union (Lake Trust), a community-based credit union serving nearly 200,000 members and businesses throughout Michigan, announced today it has welcomed Krassi Kassabov as Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer.

Kassabov will help to facilitate organizational strategy and explore new opportunities to further expand the credit union’s reach and impact. In addition, as a member of Lake Trust’s leadership team, he will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple functions across the organization.

Before joining Lake Trust, Kassabov worked at Citizens Bank in Pennsylvania for more than 20 years — starting as a sales and service representative and elevating to his most recent role as Senior Vice President, Head of Strategic Initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University, a Master of Business Administration from American InterContinental University and has attended the Consumer Bankers Association’s Executive Banking School.
