Land of Lincoln Credit Union names new Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer

DECATUR, IL (May 28, 2019) — Land of Lincoln Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Smith as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. Before joining Land of Lincoln Credit Union, Smith was the Vice President of Internal Audit, Loan Review, and Compliance Officer at SCB Bancorp, Inc. in Decatur, IL. Smith has over 10 years of
experience in the financial industry having served in various other capacities both at a local CPA
firm and at Security Bank in Springfield, IL.

Chris’ background makes him a perfect fit for this role because of his extensive experience with risk assessment and quality control in financial institutions.”

Smith is a graduate of Millikin University, where he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting. He is also a graduate of Robert Morris University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. He is also an active member of the community, serving as President of the Decatur Area Habitat for Humanity and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus.
