Land of Lincoln Credit Union promotes Nate Binkley to Assistant Vice President of Information Technology
DECATUR, IL (June 23, 2023) — Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Nate Binkley has been promoted to the role of Assistant Vice President of Information Technology. Binkley will manage the LLCU IT Department and oversee the credit union’s IT infrastructure. Binkley has served as Network Administrator at LLCU since 2020. Additionally, prior to employment at LLCU, Binkley served as IT System Administrator for the Macon County Government Office Building.
“Nate has become an integral part of our Information Technology team here at LLCU very quickly,” stated Ben Austin, LLCU Chief Information Officer. “We have the tremendous responsibility of maintaining a safe and secure cyber-environment for both our members and staff. This must occur alongside multiple technology initiatives and projects that accompany a growing organization. Nate has proven to be extremely skilled at managing these responsibilities. This elevation in Nate’s role here at LLCU will serve our members and staff very well.”
Binkley has over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology field and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University. Additionally, Binkley is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), as well as holding numerous other professional certificates pertaining to information technology.
Binkley will oversee the credit union’s IT infrastructure for all LLCU properties located throughout the 28-county LLCU service area in central Illinois. His home office is located at 2890 N. Oakland Avenue in Decatur.
