Laura Huggins named SVP of Marketing at Connexus Credit Union
WAUSAU, WI (March 11, 2024) — Connexus Credit Union proudly announces the appointment of Laura Huggins as the newest member of its Senior Leadership Team, serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing.
With nearly two decades of experience in the financial services and insurance sectors, Huggins brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new position. Prior to joining Connexus, Huggins held various leadership roles, including her recent tenure as the head of Marketing at Church Mutual Insurance Company and her role as Chief Marketing Officer at the PA School Boards Association and Insurance Trust.
Throughout her career, Huggins has consistently demonstrated her ability to drive results and align marketing initiatives with organizational objectives. Her leadership style is characterized by enthusiasm, confidence, and a strong focus on building high-performing teams. Huggins’ passion for credit unions dates back to her early career, where she served as a Credit Union Youth Ambassador, advocating for credit unions nationwide.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is deeply committed to community involvement. She currently serves as Treasurer/Secretary of the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, Marketing Chair of Girls on the Run Northcentral Wisconsin, and Vice President of Merrill Foundation, Inc.
