Leominster Credit Union hosts mortgage lending training session

LEOMINSTER, MA (October 25, 2018) — Leominster Credit Union (LCU), in conjunction with Genworth Mortgage Insurance, hosted its second Regional Mortgage Lending Training for local credit unions. Genworth’s National Trainer, Mary Kay Scully presented the topics covering appraisal review and income analysis. Over 30 participants attended the training with representation from 14 Credit Unions.

LCU anticipates hosting an additional session in Februarytitled, “Are You Smarter Than An Underwriter?”  This session will be an interactive course engaging participants in the review of the following key areas: Credit, Income, Collateral, Liabilities, Assets, Fannie Mae’s HomeReady®, and Freddie Mac’s Home Possible. Date and time of this session to be announced.
