Leominster Credit Union supports Ginny’s Helping Hand holiday efforts
LEOMINSTER, MA (November 18, 2016) — Leominster Credit Union (LCU) donated $1,000 to Ginny’s Helping Hand for holiday food baskets to be distributed to various families. “This is wonderful,” stated Susan Ghalifoux Zephir, Executive Director of Ginny’s Helping Hand. “With this donation we make it possible for us to give food baskets to approximately 350 families.”
The donation will be used to purchase turkeys, potatoes, vegetables, gravy, bread, butter… all the fixings for a complete holiday dinner to be put in each of the baskets.
John O’Brien, LCU President & CEO commented, “We appreciate what Ginny’s does for the community, and are happy that we can contribute to bring a holiday meal and joy to families in our communities.”
