Les Bois Credit Union Raising Funds to Send Care, Appreciation to Deployed Military Men and Women

BOISE, ID (June 14, 2013) To celebrate Independence Day, Les Bois Credit Union is raising funds to help show appreciation to deployed men and women serving our country and protecting our independence and freedoms. Beginning June 17 to July 5, LBCU branches will collect donations to pay for the shipping of care packages put together by Treasure Valley Blue Star Mothers. This drive is for the benefit of the Veterans Resource Network and the Treasure Valley Blue Star Mothers, two organizations who exist to serve Idaho veterans and their families.

Donations will be accepted at all five Credit Union branch locations until July 5. Suggested donations are as follows 1) $13.30, which sends one large flat-rate box of goodies to a deployed soldier, airman, sailor, or marine, or 2) iTunes gift card(s), which are highly sought after or 3) anything someone is able to contribute.

Les Bois Credit Union hopes to collect $1330 and 100 iTunes cards by July 5 - enough to send 100 care packages. If you would like to donate you can come to any branch locations (found online at lesboiscu.org) or mail a check to PO Box 140809, Garden City, ID 83714. Our Member Service Center can help with further questions at (208) 493-0160.
