New Branch Marks Re-Investment in the Bessemer Community
ATLANTA, GA (November 19, 2014) -- America’s First Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Birmingham, AL, has awarded the design, construction and branding of its new Bessemer retail branch to Atlanta-based LEVEL5. The new branch will replace the Credit Union’s existing branch in Bessemer and will be constructed on the same site.
Shirley Lochamy, Senior Vice President stated, “We are extremely excited to be upgrading and re-investing in the Bessemer community. The membership in the Bessemer area has been a core part of our success and we are very excited to provide them with an updated branch facility that signals our long-term commitment to this area.”
The Credit Union joined forces with LEVEL5 to complete an analysis of the area and devise a long-term solution for Bessemer. The new branch will leverage the Credit Union’s past success in the community, and continue to provide strong resources for its membership’s financial needs in a new, state-of-the-art facility that will include a conference room, safe deposit boxes and a drive-up ATM. Furthermore, to avoid any disruption to the membership, there will be a temporary branch facility operating on the branch site throughout the construction process.
