Lewis appointed director of mortgage of Industrial Credit Union

BELLINGHAM, WA (June 16, 2021) — Industrial Credit Union is excited to announce that Dean Lewis has been selected as the new Director of Mortgage for the credit union after a nationwide search. Mr. Lewis brings over 30 years of experience in financial services with him to Industrial and is ideally suited for this newly created role.

When asked about his new position, Lewis said, “I am excited to have been selected for this new position and am thrilled to be joining Industrial Credit Union. This is an amazing opportunity to work with some fantastic and experienced people.”

Mr. Lewis comes to the credit union from Gesa Credit Union, where he was the Regional Vice President of Mortgage Lending, Branches, and Call Centers since 2015. Before entering the credit union world, Lewis worked for Wells Fargo as a Call Center Manager and Real Estate Loan Servicer, where he oversaw six different departments and over 350 agents. Lewis has over two decades of experience in mortgage lending. Dean has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Linfield College.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Dean’s experience come on board as our Director of Mortgage. I am looking forward to working with Dean and watching him grow in this position for the foreseeable future,” said Vice President of Lending  BJ Van Leeuwen when asked for comment.
