Liberty Bay Credit Union to offer financial education to patients of Manet Community Health Center
BRAINTREE, MA (November 8, 2017) — Liberty Bay Credit Union, celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, announces a new program where the credit union will bring its popular financial education seminars to Manet Community Health Centers’ patient community with the introduction of the Liberty Bay Patient Financial Wellness Series.
Liberty Bay Credit Union understands and values the importance of financial education. For several years the credit union has offered free seminars to all members of the community on a variety of topics including credit score management, home buying, and student loan refinancing.
“Our focus on financial education is one of our biggest differentiators in the marketplace,” said Peter Dennis, Senior Vice President, Liberty Bay Credit Union. “Expanding our program with Manet Community Health Centers to bring these seminars directly to their patients is an exciting growth opportunity for Liberty Bay, but more importantly, can positively impact the financial lives of so many members of our shared community.”
Manet Community Health Center provides its patients with all-around health and wellness care, and the Liberty Bay Patient Financial Wellness Series will be another aspect of care that Manet offers. Manet locations will now be a one-stop shop for health and financial wellness.

In order to educate as many Manet patients as possible, Liberty Bay Credit Union will present one topic per quarter at each of Manet’s five locations in Quincy, Taunton, and Hull as well as at Liberty Bay’s headquarters in Braintree to ensure everyone has a chance to attend.
