HYATTSVILLE, MD (March 18, 2024) — The Library of Congress Federal Credit Union has launched a new scholarship program. Four graduating high school seniors within the Credit Union’s membership will have the opportunity to each earn $2,000 toward their undergraduate degree at an accredited college, university, technical or trade school.
Applicants must be a member of Library of Congress FCU and a spring 2024 high school graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Eligible members must then complete an application, which includes essay questions of what makes a good librarian and how the applicant demonstrates leadership. The application deadline is March 31.
