Library of Congress Federal Credit Union wins MD|DC Credit Union Association Trailblazer Award

HYATTSVILLE, MD (September 1, 2021) — The Library of Congress Federal Credit Union has won a Maryland & DC Credit Union Association Trailblazer Award for Excellence in Marketing and Communication in the category of Best Integrated Campaign for its brand awareness campaign showcasing the Credit Union’s commitment to serving America’s Library Community. The Trailblazer Awards recognize credit unions that have developed successful creative marketing and communication programs.

“We are honored by the Maryland & DC Credit Union Association’s recognition of our efforts to support causes, events and forums that are important to the library community,” said Marsha King, President and CEO of Library of Congress FCU. “We believe that the library community advances America’s great story, and we are committed to helping advance our members’ financial life story.”

The Association has sponsored the Annual Trailblazer Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Communications for more than 30 years. This year’s award categories ranged from Best Integrated Campaign, Best COVID-19 Member Communication and Best Digital Marketing to Best Social Media/Content Marketing, Best ROI and Best Video Project. Award winners were celebrated at the CONNECT 2021 Annual Conference.
