CUNA recently awarded Life CU one of their prestigious Diamond Awards, in recognition of their superior credit union website design. The award was accepted in person by representatives from Life CU. Additionally, Life's website was also honored with a “Category's Best” award. The website itself was designed by seasoned agency BloomCU, who specializes in making beautiful and tech-savvy websites for credit unions.
CUNA’s Diamond Awards are part of their annual Marketing & Business Development Council Conference, a popular credit union event. Each year, credit union marketers come to the conference to learn about the latest marketing trends, network with other marketers, and attend the banquet where the awards are presented.
Life CU’s successful website was a revamp in many ways. Life primarily serves health care employees in the Nashville area, and the new website was designed to cater to them and their unique needs. The new website is fast, highly mobile-friendly, and filled with smart-technology add-ons. For example, BloomCU employed a technology called Persona to help provide a custom experience to each site visitor, based on their past history and stated preferences.
Life’s current home page also poses the question “What Can Life Do for Me?” It encourages first-time users to take a quick quiz to help them find exactly what they are looking for on the site. In addition to the technological updates, the site also has a gorgeous new design, complete with naturalistic photography and clean, simple lines.
