Local credit union wins three national awards

Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union was recently awarded three national credit union awards for outstanding performance. The Credit Union National As-sociation (CUNA) presented Carolina Foot-hills Federal Credit Union a honorable men-tion in the Desjardins Youth Financial Educa-tion Award at the recent Governmental Af-fairs Conference in Washington, D.C. This award recognizes leadership within the credit union on behalf of financial literacy efforts for younger members and non-members of the community.

My First Budget© was designed by the credit union has a hands-on budget simulation for children in grades first through fifth.

Carolina Foothills was further honored in Las Vegas, NV, at the recent CUNA Marketing and Business Development Confer-ence by receiving two national Diamond Awards. One was for the credit union’s new logo, revealed April 2018, and the other award was for the implementation of that re-brand.

Carolina Foothills President and CEO Scott Weaver said, “Carolina Foothills is fortunate to have dedicated staff who are constantly and consistently seeking to provide the best possible service to our membership through innovation and compassion. We humbly accept these national award recognitions on behalf of our members, board and staff.”
