Lone Star Credit Union receives Excellence Award for outstanding approaches to technology challenges
DALLAS, TX (September 18, 2019) — Lone Star Credit Union in Dallas, Texas was recently honored with an Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding approaches to technology challenges with potential for universal application across the credit union movement.
The award was presented by the CUNA Technology Council, a national network comprised of more than 850 credit union technology experts across the United States. Voted on by a panel of CUNA Technology Council and Executive Committee members, the award winners displayed finesse in finding the right solutions to intricate technological/operational problems, identifying new approaches and recognizing their universal application to credit union members across the nation.
Lone Star Credit Union won for its entry, entitled Dream Big and Go For It! Technology is a Game Changer – No Matter Your Size. Lone Star Credit Union chose to dedicate its resources to shoring up its technology backbone – the network infrastructure. That one decision spring boarded a multitude of amazing opportunities for Lone Star Credit Union including its Good2Go@Work program.
