TALLAHASSEE, FL (August 11, 2023) — The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) successfully concluded its first ever Shark Tank competition at our inaugural VISION Conference, held August 9-11 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. This groundbreaking event brings together forward-thinking FinTech companies to present their innovative solutions tailored to benefit credit unions and their members.
The Shark Tank session, emceed by Landon Gaines from Corporate One Federal Credit Union, provided a platform for four exceptional companies – CU NextGen, Illuma, Glide, and VisiFi – to showcase their visionary FinTech solutions. These companies demonstrated their innovative value propositions to credit union executives in an engaging format that allowed credit unions to ask questions and vote on their favorite presenter.
The winning solution, selected by the attendees, was presented by Glide.

In addition to the competition, LSCU was delighted to partner with the Magnet Innovation Center, Walton County’s newest high school, which provides hands-on, project-based learning opportunities. The program prioritizes programs that bolster student learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
