Baton Rouge, LA (January 12, 2026) |
The Luminate Board of Directors held its first meeting of 2026 and conducted officer elections.
The Board elected Tom Kuslikis, President and CEO of EFCU Financial in Baton Rouge, as Board Chair. Kuslikis joined EFCU Financial as their CEO in 2023 and brings a strong commitment to advancing the credit union movement and supporting Luminate’s mission across the state.
Kuslikis succeeds Steve Webb, who is retiring from the role after eight years of service as Board Chair. During his tenure, Webb provided steady leadership and guidance through significant growth and change for the organization. Luminate extends its sincere appreciation to Webb for his dedication, vision, and lasting contributions to the association and Louisiana’s credit union community.
“Steve’s leadership has had a profound impact on Luminate and our members,” said Juan Fernandez, President and CEO of Luminate. “His commitment to collaboration, advocacy, and service helped strengthen our organization and position us for continued success. We are incredibly grateful for his years of leadership and grateful that Tom is stepping into this role to build on that strong foundation.”
“I am honored to step into this role and build on the momentum created under Steve’s leadership,” said Kuslikis. “I look forward to working alongside the Board and Luminate staff to continue serving and advancing Louisiana’s credit unions.”
In addition to the election of Chair, the Board selected the following officers for 2026:
- 1st Vice Chair: Chad Miller, President and CEO, Southwest Louisiana Credit Union, Lake Charles
- 2nd Vice Chair: Helen Delin, President and CEO, Instep Federal Credit Union, Belle Chasse
- Secretary: Pamela Stelly, President and CEO, Maple Credit Union, Lafayette
- Treasurer: Rodney Parker, President and CEO, Centric Federal Credit Union, Monroe
Luminate looks forward to the leadership and expertise of its 2026 Board officers as the organization continues its work to advocate for, educate, and support credit unions throughout Louisiana.
