OLD TOWN, MA (June 25, 2014) -- Maine Savings recently handpicked three up-and-comers to open its new College Avenue branch in Old Town, set to open in early August. This will be Maine Savings’ tenth branch.
In close proximity to the University of Maine campus in Orono, the branch will challenge the traditional bank and credit union set-up by featuring free standing service units, a collaborative meeting and study space, as well as free coffee and sufficient access to WIFI.
“We have tapped Josh, Karen-Ann and Kristen to open this branch due to their hard work and commitment to Maine Savings,” said John Reed, President and CEO of Maine Savings. “We are confident that these young professionals will help create a welcoming environment for students and community members alike at the new College Avenue Branch this August.”
The following Maine Savings employees have been selected.
- Josh Howes, of Bangor, was chosen to be the College Avenue Branch Manager after starting his career at Maine Savings as a teller nine years ago.
