Marie Shrake joins Mazuma Credit Union as new CFO

KANSAS CITY, Mo., February 10, 2012 – Mazuma Credit Union recently announced the appointment of Marie Shrake as Chief Financial Officer. Shrake brings with her 25 years of banking experience and will oversee the credit union’s financial affairs and accounting unit.

“I am very excited to be joining a successful, innovative organization,” said Marie. “I look forward to putting my financial and operations skills to work and contributing to the strategic vision of Mazuma.”

Prior to Mazuma, she held both CFO and COO positions at First Financial Credit Union in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  “Mazuma is very fortunate to have an executive with Marie’s cross-functional knowledge, forward-thinking style, and genuine concern for our employees and Members,” said Brandon Michaels, President and CEO of Mazuma Credit Union. “Marie is an accomplished executive who will help take Mazuma to the next level.”
    
Shrake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from the University of New Mexico, and is also a certified public accountant.
