Marin County Credit Union donates $9,246

SAN RAFAEL, CA (October 11, 2017) — Together with its members, Marin County Credit Union donated $9,246 to CUAid (http://www.cuaid.coop/site/PageServer), which is assisting credit union people affected by Hurricane Harvey and other recent disasters.

The funds will be used to help credit union people recover from the disaster so they can get on with their vital mission of helping their members recover.

“Many people are looking to their credit unions to help them rebuild and replace what they’ve lost,” said Elesja Callaghan, President/CEO. “CUAid helps credit union people be there when their members need them.”

Gigi Hyland, Executive Director of the National Credit Union Foundation, expressed her thanks saying, “Your gift will empower heroic credit union members, employees and volunteers to cope with personal losses and emotional trauma while working under extreme conditions to provide critical services that will rebuild the lives of members in the disaster area.”
