Marine Credit Union names Christina Tessmer as Compliance Manager
LA CROSSE, WI (September 3, 2015) — Marine Credit Union recently hired Christina Tessmer as Compliance Manager. In this role, Christina will oversee all compliance operations for the credit union. She will lead regular reviews and evaluations of the organization’s policies, procedures, products and programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations. In addition, she will provide counsel to credit union management on compliance matters and develop compliance training programs for the organization.
Christina joins Marine Credit Union from CoVantage Credit Union, where she served as Compliance Officer. She is a NAFCU (National Association of Federal Credit Unions) Certified Compliance Officer and CUNA (Credit Union National Association) Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist. Christina is also a member of the Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Young Professionals Network.
