The awards, which recognize outstanding marketing and business development campaigns and achievements in the credit union industry and are given by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council, were revealed the week of June 1, as the Marketing & Business Development conference was cancelled in March.
“Working with Unity One to define their brand and create that broad-level consistency has been truly rewarding,” said Aaron Gregerson, MarketMatch’s chief digital officer. “We always appreciate when our clients let us take a brand in a fresh new direction. I think the fact that we came away with these awards this year is a tribute to that.”
The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council is a national network that comprises over 1,200 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in each of 30 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond. The work for Unity One received a Diamond Award in each of four different categories:
- Website redesign
- Brand awareness
- Rebrand/corporate identity
- Email single or series
“This has been a big year for Unity One and the work we’ve created for them,” adds Gregerson. “Prior to winning the Diamond Awards, the same body of work earned four Pinnacle Awards as well.”
